I recently got some chickens. They're low-maintenance pets, and plus,
they make eggs. The eggs are delicious (if you haven't had eggs fresh
from the cloaca, you're missing out) but the problem is
that they make too many of them. Way, way too many. More than I could
possibly eat or even give away.
